Their goals include providing opportunities for professional development for library workers, ensuring that library workers receive fair wages, providing support for libraries of all types by advocating for intellectual freedom and opposing censorship, ensuring diversity and inclusivity within the library system, and promoting economic and environmental sustainability within their communities.
